Local Information and Services for Residents
The Anderby Parish meet regularly, usually once per month except for high summer and Christmas. Meetings are open to members of the public and are held in Anderby Village Hall.

Anderby Creek has a Neighbourhood Watch scheme. They currently have a Facebook Group to highlight any issues.
The Village Hall in Anderby holds regular and special events throughout the year. There is a small car park outside and the Hall has full facilities inside including a kitchen and toilets.
Aside from local events, the Village Hall is also used for local and national voting and holds the regular Parish Council meetings.
There are recycling point for glass in Anderby Creek car park, Poplar Zareba Caravan Park and Manor Farm Caravan Park in Anderby.
Other waste recycling e.g. clothes are available in nearby villages. The closest recycling centre (tip) is in Skegness.

AVERT is the Anderby Village Emergency Response Team. This is set up to assist the local population in event of an emergency. Please see the Parish website for the local emergency plan.
There are two post boxes in the Parish, one outside the Beach Shop in Anderby Creek and the other near Henry’s Bungalow in Anderby (where the old Post Office used to be).
The closest Post Offices are now in Chapel St Leonard’s (inside Co-op) and Sutton-on-Sea (inside Spar). Both these post offices have the full range of services including travel money.

Health Care, Dentists & Opticians
The closest hospital is in Skegness, the closest A&E is in Boston.
There are a number of chemists/pharmacies in Sutton-on-Sea, Alford and Chapel St Leonard’s.
There are opticians and dentists in Alford, Mablethorpe and Skegness.
Banks and Cash Machines
Unforunately over the last few years the majority of our local banks are now closed. The remaining banks are in Skegness.
There are a number of cash machines locally though (Alford Co-op) and you can use some banking services in the nearby Post Offices.
Although Anderby parish no longer has a mobile library service there are libraries in Sutton-on-Sea, Chapel St Leonard’s and Alford.
You can also order books for collection at any one of these libraries online and you can also download ebooks to hire from the website.
The closest stations are in Huttoft and Sutton-on-Sea. In addition, there is a petrol station in Bilsby which is also a Spar and has a Post Office inside.
